First of all, welcome to the family. I'm Dan, one of the managers here, which doesn't mean a whole lot. Mostly it means you get to yell at me if there's something you don't like. 
Hopefully that won't happen too often.
Opana-ER is oxycodone, which is a synthetic codeine. I take a form of that called Norco. It seems to be fairly effective on most days. On other days it might as well be candy. I don't even bother to take it. For those days I have instant release morphine (MSIR) which is very effective. However, it's short acting, so I try to get by with the Norco.
