MagicLizzy, Here is how it works. I'll work another website to find more info what you're looking for. I hope this helps in the meantime. How does wireless internet work? UDATAnet has antennas located in Wyandot county that are directly connected to our main line out to the internet. These antennas operates on a 2.4 Ghz frequency (Microwave) which allows UDATAnet to broadcast an internet link up to 10 miles from each antenna. Each customer must have an antenna, radio and a computer in order to receive/transmit back to UDATAnet. This connection is live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is no time limit on usage. When your computer is turned on, you are on the internet. There is no telephone line involved and the weather does not effect your connection. |
