Hi Shelley
You were saying everything you plant in the front, in full sun dies. You have  watering sysyem put in, does it come on before 7 am? It's important to water in early day, so the leaves can dry off and not develop any mildrew.
You are in NJ, you should have a good growing climate. Many plants love full sun, like you said you have there. Perhaps it is your soil. Tell me about your plant beds, and what sort of things you tried that didn't thrive, and what sort of things do grow there. Have you enriched the soil?

Hi Hannah, Thanks for trying to help me! I get so mad at all the plants I've tried to grow and failed with. I have planted real hardy plants like marigolds, petunias u name
it they all die on me. I have even tried chick and hens they grrew some, but they didn't last the summer. Than I have tried to plant ones that come back every year, asked the nursery too, they say to me, Oh there'll never die, I go hehmmm! It's me here. I put a hose underground, so the plants only get water from under neath Hannah, They still don't seem to have enough water. Sometimes I do think its our soil, We have a lot of probs here as far as asbestos, creosol. It is terible here. A lot of places have been ripped down because of it. I have put in new soil. Even in my back yard last year we had it filled with good hardy top soil planted all new grass, I was looking at it this morning some places don't look to good again!
Oh Well Hannah, maybe when I move somewhere else, when we retire! Thats why I keep most of my plants in pots! Even in the front I do...Have any suggestions?
Shelley

Hi Shelley
It must be your soil. Most top soil isn't  really  good gardening soil though, it looks nice and black, but not a lot of nutrients in it.  If the hens and chicks died, it has got to be the soil, those things are tough. Did you use a transplant fertilizer when you planted?
Probably if your husband built you a nice raised bed, about 2 feet high,  and you  lined the bottom, (to keep the toxins away) filled it up with a soil called "Flower bed soil", your plants would grow.  But you can do a lot with planters and hanging baskets! Miracle Grow are selling soil now, I bet it is excellent! Probably has time released nutrients. I use a soil called "Magic Soil" in my containers and my house plants, it has the time released nutrients in it, the company is owned by Loblaws, I don't know if they sell it in the USA.

How are you today Shelley?  Hope better!

I'm hurting this morning, but better then yesterday.  I'm almost wondering if they didn't screw something up when they gave me those shots Monday.  I'm hurting lots on my left side also, with pains radiating down both my shoulder blades.  (what's a person to do)
Well tomorrow is suppose to be the big day for returning to work, they will see how much pain I'm in, I can't stop shaking.  I guess we will see how it goes....... I love your idea about falling to the floor in pain, but don't think I have enough guts to do that.  I'm a big chicken.
Have you heard for you Son?  Hope all is well with him.  Have been praying lots for him and you.  Let me know how your doing.

Love  to you
Anne-marie
