 Hello,
I am starting an indoor garden, when should say I am doing alot house plants, I want to make the living and my bedroom like a little jungle complete with a nice waster fall for a soothing effect. Well, not a big jungle just have alot of nice plants around a meduim size water, I have hard time getting around outside sometimes and figure I better do somthing productive and can take my mind off   of things a little meditative place.  My question what is the best house plants to grow in partical shade. I live in Washington. sometimes no sun to come in through the windows. If someone does not mind may I please have list of ones you might know of. Thanks for your time and patients, Sincerely looking for a friend.Thank you LadyDawn7191

Ladydawn7191;
I don't think we have had the pleasure of meeting yet. I am Doofiebutt...as Dan referres to me "Doofers". I answer to just about anything.....
I have house plants, lots of house plants...I have the scheffelera(sp?), dieffenbacia, (again sp?) numerous "happy plants, (which are the hanging planter type, with the longer runners, green leaves with a little yellow), I have aloe vera plants all over the place, hybiscus which isn't mine...it belongs to my mom, it's not hardy type, and too cool for it outside right now, spider plants...what they call mules ear....big thing...ficus tree...which if you get one of these, be careful when you move it...if you jar the pot just the least, it  throws the root system in to shock and it will die. I have what is known around here as the "prayer plant" greenish leaves with pruple veins....swedish ivey....smells so good.....peace lily which when Dad passed 10 years ago, I killed 13 and swore I'd never have another....this one is compliments of Auntie Pooh.....
good luck with the plants you get....
