Well today is the DAY! SS is calling me for my phone interview this morning at 10:45 am. I am so scared I hardly slept last night and my heart is pounding so hard right now it isn't funny. Me and a girlfriend of mine spent almost 4 hours on the phone and computer last night filling out my SS work on the computer. God was that tedious (sp). I could not remember all the stuff they asked, it has been four years. Anyhow if you guys could please think of me, pray for me, alot lol I would appreciate it ALOT! I know some of you have already been there and know what I am up against so you know first hand how nervous I am and scared. I am going to try to get ready for this now. Kim: Hope all goes well with your phone interview. Just stay relaxed; or try to anyway...lol. Give straight, clear responses....give as little info as you can...but make sure you tell them 'how it is'. You'll be in my prayers this morning....and I hope that all goes well for you. Dee and Cyndy thanks for your prayers. I am crying right now you guys mean alot to me. Dee I like your cartoon. I just called my dh at work to ask how to send my ssd print page from my lap top to the other computer so I could print it, computer illeterate here. Copy, paste blah blah I have no clue. Cyndy John McCain, lol he's shitting bullets for the next over 24 hours, hopefully one won't hit Obama, lol. I like Obama myself. Whoever wins will have it hard. All we can all do is VOTE! Well it's over, they called about 10:50; the girl was very nice. Since I had filed on-line it only took me about an hour on the phone. Now they just have to get my info from all the hospitals and doctors. She said I should know by January or February. Hopefully sooner. We figured out that my husband is a whole 160 dollars a month over for SSI so it is up to trying for SSD which she said would be $834 a month and I guess whatever my 3 kids would be available for. Not that I want any of this in the first place but the bills of course still need paid. Like one of my friends said this would sure take alot of stess of of me for possible future strokes. I just keep thinking of how bad I want to be here for my kids and sure don't want to have another one; mini or not you never know what the next one will be, if at all. I hate the whole aspect of this, I would much much rather be back to running with my kids, skipping rope, etc. gosh I hate this. She also told me that with my self employment of my day care being so low that I would have had only till 2011 to have been eligable wow that cut it close. I just hope it doesn't turn into one of those big fights of hearing and lawyers although I do have one. My husband talked to his friend, the lawyer; and he already told him that I should file on my own first because my PCP usually fills out the paperwork real good and is mostly accepted right away but he will help us if it does come down to that. Thanks Debra for my morning phone call that was great of you, I cannot tell you by any measure how much that meant to me. It is now the waiting game! Love ya all Kim |

Kim, I'm glad that the interview went so well. I'm still digging around looking for the RFC form we discussed. I'm going to find it, scan it and email it to you rather than mail it to you. Good Lord, what was I thinking when I said I'd mail it? No one mails anything anymore! When do you see your PCP again? I need to find it before then for sure so you can take it with you when you see him. I hope you see him soon. Do you have any other paperwork that you personally have to take to the social security office? After I find the form, I might just call you again and talk to you about it. I just wanted to check in and see how your phone interview went. I knew you'd do fine, you sounded like you had everything sorted out this morning when I talked to you. I'm on the hunt for the RFC form! I'll let you know when I find the stupid thing! Debra |
