Stomach problems don't have to mean cancer or something serious, hon. It can be a small ulcer that can be treated with medications. Or it can be a bowel obstruction, or divertiulitis, or any number of things. The colonoscopy often cures what ails you itself, due to the need to empty the bowel in order to take a look in there. I'll be keeping you in my prayers, hon. Lots of love and healing hugs, Dan |

Hi moongoddess I'm sorry you are sick and feel so crummy. Dan is right, there are a lot of things other than cancer that can cause your symptoms. Have you had a colonscopy before? I have, and so has my husband, and tons of relatives and friends and people I know on-line, and it really is not a painful procedure. You will be sedated and sleep through it. The worst part is taking the laxative the night before to empty out. It is a drink that tastes kind of yucky, although my husbands doctor gives him a pleasant tasting one to drink! If I ever have to get another one, I am going to request the same stuff instead of the one my doc said to drink. I feel nausous a lot too, and I take 10 mg.Rabeprazole, twice a day, but I often go weeks without needing any. Let us know what your doc says, and how you are feeling. Sending get well soon wishes your way. |

Sorry to hear you are having stomach problems. Hope they can figure out what's wrong with you....soon. I know the 'not knowing' is the worst thing....once we know, we can handle it. Like the others said, don't jump the gun and think it's cancerous...wait and see what the tests come back as being the problem. Hope you feel better real soon....and please let us know how you are doing; and what they found. Take care...and hang in there! Hugz, Dee |
