I have to see the dr today, to get onto meds for this.  I've had them about twice a year, for 20 years.  Always mild, because I know how bad they could be.  However, two new areas on the trunk, and not mild, not mild, at all.

I've hesitated as I'm on so many darn medications.

Are you on Neurontin? That is prescribed for the pain of Shingles. And it is too late as you broke out, but if caught in the first 24 hours an antiviral can reduce the severity of it.
Hope it doesn't last long.

Oh no!  Man, that just ....  sucks.  My heart goes out to you my friend.  I know that hurts like crazy.

You're in my prayers, that they go away soon.

I know that it could be worse.  I'm starting the meds, and a cream, even if it is late.  Some of the things are still blistered, so maybe it will help.

I'm going on the meds forever!!!

I didn't realize the damage it can do to the spinal chord.  Perhaps this is what is wrong with my legs.  I've got calls into the various drs.  I've been waiting for a referral for a neurologist for months.

I know very well, that it could be much worse.

Thank you for asking.

Sorry to hear you have the shingles....again!  I know they are the PITS!!!  Have you gotten the shot for them???  It's supposed to keep you from getting them.....especially if you've had them before.

Hope you feel better soon....and hope the pain isn't too bad from the shingles.  Take care...and let us know  how you are doing.
Hugz,
Dee
