yup, it's me again. sitting here trying NOT to stew....and feel stupid. i just came upon some of the rheumatologists;' notes that were sent to my ex internist and she has said she doesn't think my "problems" should be treated with pharmeceuticals! oh my god, am i INSANE and i don't know it yet???? she says my "problems" are "all soft tissue related"...okee dokee, but...how come after twenty years of this treatment and that treatment i finally felt like i got some lasting relief from...pain medication?

this has got me to wondering if any of you would be willing to share with me what the nature of your chronic pain issues are?.....i am just trying like crazy to get my bearings back here.....since when does "just fibromyalgia"(the brushoff from the ex internist)of "just soft tissue pain" mean no pain medication as part of treatment? i feel like i am quickly sinking here.....seriously.....THIS is why pain patients kill themselves: nobody on their side , so to speak. how easy it is for THEM to blithely say "oh, she doesn't need pain medication...it's JUST THIS/it's JUST THAT"

why is there no one in my life who is on my side?
