Hi, I have RSD or CRPS, lower back disk problems, cervical disk disease, ulcers, IBS, depression and anxiety. I have been dealing with these problems since 2000. It started from an injury in the Navy to my right leg, and then because I wobble..my back fell out of sorts, and I guess my upper back neck region decided to follow suite, then my right arm started acting up.
I am in bed most of my time, getting out some times on Sat or Sun for about an hour for yardsaling..I love this, although my husband is probably tired of my buying stuff for us to just look at and move around to get through the house..lol, I guess I am sort of a pack rat.
I am a mother of 4, and married to a wonderful man, who is my hero.
I think God and my husband keeps me going through all these times and I have to thank God that it isn't as bad as it could be..these thoughts are what gets me through my days, and sometimes my moments when the pain is just out of control.
Thank you for everyone who is taking the time to read this and getting to know me better.
God Bless

Welcome Sultbana.  I'm sorry I haven't gotten in here earlier and welcomed you.  I don't mill around in here too often.  We hang out on the "general" board primarily and that's where the main "action" goes on so I must apologize for being so late to greet you.  Sorry to hear of your illness.  We have several members that suffer from RSD and I myself have a lesser form, in that I have a chronic neuropathic pain in my left arm.  I can certainly relate to the "burning, torch hot" feeling inside your body.

We are a really great group of folks that are here to offer you friendship, and we know what it feels like to hurt from chronic pain day in and day out.  We know what it feels like while others can't comprehend what we go through.  You have a new set of friends now.  Come and join us on the general message board and become one of our newest members and let us all get to know each other better!

Hi Shy!

I wear a elastic back support from Wal-Mart for $20.00! But I had to buy 2 supports and cut off the extra straps! Then I cut off one end of the velcro from one back support, and had an alterations person sew the extra length onto the other support so it fits my waist! For me it is a miracle and I even wrote the manufacturer to praise their product.

I wear mine 24-7 and it conforms so well, I rarely notice I am wearing it. If someone does see it under my t-shirt I could care less because it keeps 90% of my back pain away! It you put it on too tight, your kidneys will tell you, lol! If it is too loose it will not stay in place. When it is just right, believe me you will know it! I have had to wear a back support since 1988. Without it, I don't know how I could endure the back pain, 24 hours a day! Here is my back support:

This support lasts years before I have to replace it.

I feel this back support would improve anyones bad back.

Best wishes to you!

Raymond.
