Hello everyone,
I will make this as short as I can.
I am new here but not new to CP.
My problem started between 3 & 4 yrs ago shortly after moving into my new home.
I started out with alot of cardiac type pains, all left sided, chest, arm, ribs & so on.
Because if the chest pain & problems breathing everyone thought it was cardiac & then breathing issues because I could not take a full inhalation in. (which I believe now was do to severe muscle spasms in the left side, chest & ribs)Scary.
After heart caths & test after test, cardiac was ruled out.
Then started the pain & still no diagnosis. The pain was in the same area & would strike so suddenly that I could not get a breath in & would start to throw up & still nothing. That was the start of all the other tests MRIs, Cts & so on....
I ended up with shoulder decopression & hoping it was all linked to that....
Wrong, now I am in Pain management & just repeated the C& T MRI, got a copy of report & found indeed there are Cervical problems along with problem in the Lumbar 1 & 2 that were picked up by accident.
I have been told it was in my head, I was depressed or it was anxiety & so on...
I have lost alot of ROM in my left arm & the pain has just continued to go up, up,up.
I am praying that finally I will get some answers. I have yet to go over the results with my PM who is on vactation, he is sending me to a back surgeon on the 30th of this month.
I feel so bad & sympathize with all who suffer chronic pain. It changes ones life so drastically that sometimes just the shell remains. I have fought hard to have hope & to keep faith & prayers keep me going. I feel blessed after getting to know others with CP that I am still able to do some of the things I do. It can always be worst.
I take it one day at a time & learned for now that is the only way I can live with CP.
I hope to be able to give as much as I get from this group & look forward to meeting you all. God bless, Sammy
