I COME FROM A SMALL TOWN WHERE EVERYONE KNOWS EVERYONE......... I AM MARRIED 30 YEARS TO A WONDERFUL HUSBAND, WHOM I MET WHEN I WAS 14, YOU CAN SAY WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOREVER.... WHO I DRIVE CRAZY MOST OF THE TIME, BUT I KEEP HIM BUSY THIS WAY! HE IS MY SANITY....... I HAVE TWO YOUNG ADULTS, MY DAUGHTER JUST GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE, SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL IF I MAY SO. SHE IS AN ATHLETIC ALL THE WAY. MY SON IS IN THE ARMY HE IS AN AIRBORNE ARMY MEDIC. IT MAKES ME CRAZIER THAN ANYONE WILL EVER KNOW. BUT HE LOVES IT. HE LOVES TO HELP PEOPLE, I SPOTTED IT WHEN HE STARTED TO CRAWL! I HAVE TWO BOXERS SHANE AND CHEYENNE THEY ARE MY BUDDIES, ONE IS OVER 100 LBS THE OTHER IS 83 LBS. THEY ARE BROTHER AND SISTER. THERE SO FULL OF LOVE ALL THEY WANT IS HUGS AND KISSES AND FOOD....... CHEYENNE  . SHANEY   I JUST INHERITED A GOLD FISH NAMED TOMMY, MY DAUGHTERS! SHE BROUGHT IT HOME FROM WORK...... I WENT TO SCHOOL TO BE A HAIR DRESSER, I LOVE IT, MY CUSTOMERS ARE LIKE MY FAMILY. I OWNED MY OWN SHOP , I CLOSED IT AND MISSED IT SO MUCH I WENT TO WORK FOR A FRIEND OF MINE. I WAS INJURED FROM MY WORK, I HAVE LONG THORACIC NERVE DAMAGE, DOUBLE WINGED SCAPULA, CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS......I JUST HAD CTS SURGERY NOT TO LONG A GO, NOW I AM HAVING THE OTHER WRIST DONE IN SEPTEMBER. I ENJOY COOKING, GARDENING, SEWING, EMBROIDERY,  CRAFTS........I WAS JUST ABOUT TO OPEN ANOTHER BUSINESS AND BOOM. I WANTED TO OPEN AN EMBROIDERY SHOP, SEWING, CRAFTS, WOOD BURNING...... FIGURING I WOULD SIT THE NEXT 50 YEARS OR SO! THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN MY LIFE.......MY FAMILY.. ...  MY WILL TO LIVE.......GET MY CHECKS FROM WC........AMEN........ |

I need an update here. Now I have Kyphosis, it is terribly painful. I had surgery on Jan 8th, 2004 now I am having another one July 8th, 2004! Think better stay away from the J's and 8's LOL.... I hope this surgery works or I am in big trouble..I am going to have 3 surgeries at once, to help save my neck...it slid off my shoulders! Anyone? In one way u can make a joke about it, but it another way, it is so painful theres no joke about it. I also have winged scapula in both shoulder blades now, my shoulder dislocates at will, I have fibro, Myofascia and I don't even want to be tested for what else I have, believe that one? Maybe its good I have enough pain just knowing about all of these. I am not on WC any more thank u God! I am on SSD, I got it myself, with no lawyers help. If I had to be on Wc for one more sec I would have lost it completely! Oh I am still going after them, I am lucky I have my hubbys insurance to help me, I have to pay them back out of my settlement, but its worth being away from those you know whats! In Nov I go on Medicare, I can't believe I have been so sick like this, it seems one day u are fine, another day u wake u and u think u are in another persons body! , Someone has to wake me up.... get me out of this dream of mine. My son is in Iraq now, my daughter graduated from college is working now, making good money trying to save too be on her own...I am so lucky to have two beautiful young adults for children, My Hubby he is the best thing that ever happend to me, I love him dearly, he helps me so much I cry.... Been married going on 31 years in August, Where has the time gone? Well I wanted to add some pics But for some reason this computer of mine won't do it! Maybe tomorrow it will allow me to do it! I have made a lot of good friends here, I don't know what I'd do without any of u! All of u have helped me face things that I would never have if it weren't for your loving support! Love to all shelley ![]() Hey it let me do it today! Finally my two pups, Cheyenne & Shaney I love them to pieces! They keep me company all day and protect me! From what I don't know but they do! Chey weighs over 100lbs now, Shaney weighs about 85 lbs now..My vet tells me all the time when we get serious et him know he'll put them on diets! I think they look just fine!![]() & here we are Christmas of 2003, this is one of my favorite pics! We are all together! This is the last pic of my son before he left for Iraq....Maybe u can tell we were all crying at the time. |

UPdate to my update! Well...I had my surgery 6/29/06 for the kyphosis, let me tell you it wasn't any fun for me or my Family.. ..I was in ICU in the Neuro Unit at UMDNJ, in Newark NJ...only Surgeon who would touch me and I was very, very lucky to have him as a Doc...He saved me from being paralyzed from my neck down..it took my Hubby my Kids and all of you to talk me into this surgery..because I knew it wouldn't be any fun, ten and so many hours later I had a new neck! I was on a respirator for 3 days..that wasn't any fun at all, for once someone shut me up! I'm no good at signing either! No one understood all I wanted was my poor back rubbed it hurt so bad from laying there constantly! My Lung Doc warned me not to have it done because of my lungs, I know have COPD, where did that come from? Don't know... I have empheseyma (SP) too? many, many years of hairdressing, smoking? He did not want me to have this surgery done for nothing, but when I told him my outcome he shook his head and signed the paper for me so I could have the surgery... Well it's about 1 1/2 months after it and I was told the damage I had before the surgery is there to stay, so is the pain. I'll be on pain meds the rest of my life and I have to be very careful in what I do..lots of restrictions..no none of this no none of that..what a way to live, but hey I am walking moving around, I wouldn't have been if this surgery didn't work. I look like I have an erector set in my neck and back, as Adam put it, Dan says I am an alien!!!! It really does look bad...lots of plates rods and screws. The Surgeon told me he had to rebuild my neck and when you look at the xrays you can see he really did...he had to tie one of the rods into the second rib because my first rib is gone, another surgery I had to have..... TOS surgery Seems as days go on I add more and more surgerys... I have Morgs, it is disgusting to have...I don't even want to talk about this disease... My Kids, well, my Daughter is engaged planning on getting married soon! She is working hard, too hard! There going to buy a Boxer Puppy! I can't wait! Of course ol gram's here is going to baby sit! It's so exciting for me, another pup running around here! That makes 3! My Hubby is excited to, he's worried about the yard so Jay my son in law is going to fence some of the yard off so they all go there! Good Idea! My Son he got married! Going to be a Dad in November of 2006... he is still stationed in Hawaii, she is here living with MOM don't get it and never will! But this is what she wants so my son caves in for her every time!
