hello iam new to the group but i was glad to see that iam not the only one out there who hurts all of the time, i have had surgey because i had a cycst that had to be taken out, for the last 8 months i have been hurting i have gone to the doctors and at first got the run around and after 5 months of going back and fourth they finally did something about it and i knew then that i wasnt going crazy, i have to take meds to stop the pain which i hate and they dont want to do surgey unless they have to, so iam going to try deep tissue massage and see if that helps does anyone know if it works or not, iam excited because maby finaly i wont hurt as bad as i do, thou they say it wont take it away it will make it so i dont hurt as bad i guess we will wait and see

Hi, Joolieanna.  Welcome to the family.  I'm Dan, one of the managers here.  I'm sure some of the others will be by to say hello as well as some of the other family. 
 
And we are all a family here, bonded by one thing.  We all know what it means to hurt 24/7. 
 
OK I'm not real sure I understand what happened.  They did surgery on you to remove a cyst?  Is that right?  And you've been hurting ever since then?  Did they impinge (cut too close to) a nerve?  What happened when they did the surgery on the cyst?  What kind of cyst was it? 
 
You say they did give you some medications to help you with the pain?  And they did help?
