HI everyone its great to be a part of this group
I'm a married female 45 and living in ontario canada, I was diagnosed with RSD 8 years ago and since then many nightmares have followed, have back problems heart problems knee problems and all the good stuff that follows with the old age creeping up on me  Its amazing how chronic pain can change your whole life I have 3 daughters that support me its been a long road but knowing that there is people out there in the same position you are makes it so much easier. I look forward to getting to know some of you and just wondering if there was any other people in the group that were from canada???
hope to talk to you all soon

Sassy

Good to see you posting, Sassy!  : )  There are a number of Canadian members here, and several with RSD as well.  Harvey has it, and Anne-Marie has it, although she's been away visiting her mother and family for awhile now.  Normally she lives in Texas, though.  But you're not alone here, that's the thing.  I'm glad your daughters are supportive of you, too; that's great.  : )

Sassy, by any chance, did your husband recomend this group?  I just wondered, as you joined the same day I gave a gentleman in Ontario this group address for his wife.

Hey, Sassy.  I'm Dan and I am one of the managers around here.  That doesn't really mean much except that they can yell at me if they don't like something.   <Looks suspiciously around to make sure everything is OK...>  Luckly the other managers do all the hard work so I don't get yelled at very often, cept by them to get to work.  Heh, heh.

Nice to see you here, though I hate that you have RSD, or CRPS as it's known as now.   That stands for Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome.

Over on the left is a great deal of information on chronic pain, managing it and learning about it as well as treating it.  Enjoy...  If you have any quesions let us know, OK?

Hugs and lots of love,

Dan

Hi Sassy.
Ok, I guess it isn't you.  There was a gentleman here on Friday repairing our fridge, his wife has a lot of pain and I gave him the site's url, then you joined,  about the same age and also Ontario, so I wondered if you were she!
I am glad you are here, however you found your way!

Boy that is so true Sassy!

I have IBS a (irritible Bowel Syndrome) for which I cannot eat 95% of what everyone else can eat. It is a life altering change in my life.

I am so happy you have a supportive family. So many have no one supportive in their life and that makes their struggle twice as hard. I have had lower back pain for 34 years due to a car accident. I have seen the worst of times, but at this time in my life my back pain is tolerable.

I hope you can meet some canadian friends here or on the web, eh?

Best wishes,

Raymond.

Sassy joined back in 2006, (note the date of her post).  Unfortunately, she's not been very active on the boards, though she's remained a member.

Maybe you resurecting her first hello will bring her back.  I hope so.

Dan
