I'm Dan, and I'm one of the managers here. You can read about me under Meet DAN over on the left. Actually, there's a LOT of good information over there. Check it out. A couple of things you might want to look at before you make your pain doc appoinment are the parts on dealing with pain doctors. That has to do with keeping a pain diary and a strategy for making doctors comfortable with giving you narcotics. Click on Strategy for Medical Control of Pain and A Sample Pain Chart and Sample Graph of Pain Diary to read and see what I'm talking about. Then you won't have to go through all that other stuff over there looking for it...

Oops, I almost didn't answer the one you did ask. Well, it was implicit in your statement that you were new to this. You're doing fine. You posted your first post and look, BINGO you've got a response.
