Here's my story. In September 2005 I was involved in a car accident. I was driving about 55 mph when a car pulled out in front of me. As a result of the accident I had a traumatic disc herniation at the C-5/6 level. I had my first surgery about 6 months after the accident and my second surgery a year after the first. I am considered a surgical failure. So I have permanent nerve damage in the left neck and shoulder plus chronic, constant muscle spasms in my neck. I was just put on disability by 2 doctors so I am beginning the SSD process. That's pretty much it, I guess. I deal with chronic pain at about a 7 or 8 every day and I deal with the depression and anxiety associated with it. Becky |
