Barefoot, my ears perkerd up at "very resourceful and crafty individual" comment. 
 Could you help with this at all?
Bill is my father, and I cannot find any mention of a man disappearring from the Victoria, BC area in 1959.  Would you have any idea's for me?
I know Vancouver is not Victoria, but maybe you are close to some sort of archives?
I already went to Victoria and searched old city directories and some newspapers.
