First of all, welcome. Welcome to the family.
I'm Dan, one of the managers here. I'm sure others will be by to help out. But I do want to welcome you.
Let's see. You're Canadian. I am not sure how your system works. If you were in the lower part of North America, I would say to get a new doctor. We can change them as often as we want to. But again, I don't know how that works up there.
Are you keeping a pain diary? That often helps. If a doctor can see your pain in hard cold numbers, they are more likely to prescribe narcotics. Over on the left is a link to Strategy for Medical Control of Pain . Just click on this and see if it doesn't help.
What you need to do is probably establish a baseline pain level with the narcotics you're taking. Then, if he custs you off of them, keep track of your pain and go back to him and show him how your pain has gone up.
Good luck and let us know how this works out.
Welcome again,
Dan
