Not sure if this is the right place to discuss this, Dan I know you have comments or should I call it "Mr. Know-it-all" LOL just kidding ; ) I can't wait to hear what you say lol
I keep up-to-date in MSNBC more in details, I think. There are things that my husband debate back and forth a lot of them are things that we don't discuss with others, with me I just explode willing to share my thoughts/opinions with others oooh I read many articles and watch videos in Dateline web site as well as other web sites.
"Predators in the headlines" caught this article I do watch the program To catch a predator... call me sick, actually I watch it, how can I word it 'to excersie my psychology ability - which I studied that course we all use psychology every day
OK let's talk about our kids using the Internet, welll its our responsibities to learn how to block web sites to where our kids cannot have access to, this is when you have an extra computer in your household as well as TV channels both in the living room and bedrooms.
A perfect web site "MySpace"that I personaly do not like, not only our kids just us, I have looked at it I find it "childish, too much information, pictures that is displayed; it is basically for our profiles in any web sites that have that features like MSN groups where it shows your " first name and/or last name, age, location (city state, county), marital status and a place to where you can display your picture - either of yourself, child or a image like a flower. While being on that subject, what about "public restricted MSN groups" peeps watch/read/look at pics from your albums but the peep does not participate in the discussion at all, only when they signed up to join...here's a tip:
Watch the pictures that you put in the albums for instance; your house inside and out, kids, cars the license plate oh oh Lord please, please be careful forbid I have seen a person's license plate from a picture seen recently online, there's the ticket. Be very, very watchful. I recently deleted pictures in my group that had pics of my son I thought it was innocent since my group is private so after a while I read somewhere, I got thinking I better take them off, there are a few I left.
I have told my husband that we need to keep the doors locked whenever we leave the house even just a short time. He has lived on the same street for 49 years he thinks that it is safe, I told him time after time "things have changed" there are many teenagers even young kids as old as the age 8
roaming the neighborhood, you/we don't know who they are even their parents, excuse me, trash no offense same goes on for my neighborhood they were elderl. My husband resided outside the city limits me in the city (talk about a transition lol), though people in the neighborhood think Chuck's insane so people leave clear a way from him lol so I'm safe, who is sane anyway? <grin>
Back to the saddle folks, I might not say much in the general board but boyyy I have a lot to say so - you're seeing/hearing my true colors <eyes raising up>
Truthfully, I relate to older - not "old" people than the one's my age growing up with 3 brothers and two sisters me #6 Jerry was 18 when I was born then there was 2 sisters were already on their own (if I remember correcty) then there was my two brothers were still living with mom & dad shortly after that my older brother moved on...so there was me and my brother 9 years older than me. Moving on.
Here are some articles to check out:
I don't have to spoon feed where to find this information it's a tendency that I do a lot hehe, guess making sure I get my point across lol
Sorry I got off the subject ... I do that a lot <rolling my eyes>
