Hello Everyone: Well now that I have more info to go on re: my Sturgis line, I am going to ask for help.
I finally got listed all the children of my GGGrandparents:
Emanuel & Margaret Sturgis/Sturges/Sturgess.
Mary Elizabeth Sturgis (my GGrandmother) Allen.
Annie who married John Willett a real estate dealer of Hooperston, IL.
Sadie of Fulton, IL.
Maggie May married George Eaton res: Plato Center. Farmer.
Susie wife of Ernest Richmond, farmer in Campton.
William Sturgis born June 5, 1869 near Sycamore, IL.
He should have a very large probate record.
James farmer in Aurora.
Carrie was still at home at this time.
John & Harry.
Most of this is from the Kane Co., History JJC 1877, 1852. of Kane Co.
There were other Bios done as well.
I have alot of history on Mary Elizabeth but not on the others.
I would appreciate if some kind soul could help me locate any info on the others??
Thank you kindly.
Kind reguards,
Martha

There are some that could be one or the other, but

You will probably have to do some marriage lookups etc.
to get further. Check deaths, cems., etc to see who may have died.

Good luck and let me know if I can help any more.

Dianna in CA.
