I was hopeing to send this to Wayne but lost his address-I have a real tough brick wall for years, and can't crack it.Hope some one out there has a suggestion.
Not from Ill.that I know of.
Reuben Free marr Mary Ann Cooper 2 Feb 1859.This man has to be hatched by a bird.I searched 1850 census, only one in  Pa and he was to old. Also no kids listed in census. There are a couple of other Free's in the county, but he seems to not be from that line.Talking to people from that line, they say he is possibly Indian.
His marr lisence tells me nothing, his tomb stone tells me only his name,no dates. No funeral home records, and nothing in the cemetery records.
Can any one give me a idea where else or what to do?This is my g-grandfather.Thanks for any help-Keshagirl

Keeshagirl,

You didn't give much to go on, mention a county but didn't name it; mentioned children but didn't name them.

The surname Free came up Fry at Familysearch.

Thomas Cooper age 52, wife's name is Mary...chidren ages 4, 6, 9, 16, 13, 23, 22, no children named Mary, but room for other children to be in this family

Sally A Cooper age 20 living with a George Lebourfield?

Elizabeth Cooper age 24 living with Michael Harmon

Cagy Cooper age 45, with a 12 or 19 year old Mary [I lean towards 19 because of the birth order]

How did this get in the Suggestion Box instead of on the General or Brick Walls board?  The Suggestion Box was designed for members to offer input and ideas for the improvement of the IKK.   The General and Brick Walls boards are for research questions and information.  Another board may be on the chopping block!

I found a Reuben Fry in Clermont County, Ohio in the 1850 census.  He was 12 years old, and was born in Kentucky.  He was living with Arthur and Amanda Blade, both of whom were born in Kentucky.

Happily, in the 1840 Census there was an Andrew Free in Bracken Co. who is probably a relative.  Unfortunately, it is difficult figuring out who might be who, and what their place is in the family.

Yes, that is the biggest problem. I believe there were 2 Andrew Free's and I
narowed Reubens birth down to Peter, but again no proof. I don't think tho
he ever left Bracken co.Will try and email you later about Bladeston
      cemetery. Kehagirl

buried.(Grandpa)Bladeston cem is a local nick name, I was curious about
where the name came from and research for about 2 yrs.Blades never lived in
the area, on the other end of the county, yes.The real name of the cem is
from the church there Concord Meth. Ch. The land was given by the Golden
fam. for taking care of and includeing their family cem in it also.Stones
from there are all gone, tho I have a very old pic showing stones. The names
