How to Be Happy, Dammit: A Cynic's Guide to Spiritual Happiness

Guaranteed to perk up even the most cynical spirit, HOW TO BE HAPPY,

DAMMIT is the first and only self-help book that merges psychology, biology, eastern and western philosophies, quantum physics, and the Zen of Bazooka Joe.

Think love and happiness have passed you by?

Think no schmaltzy book can help you capture the life-joy you're looking for?

This book is different, promises author Karen Salmansohn.

Peek within its colorful, uniquely designed pages, and you really will find pearls of wisdom to help you discover more satisfaction every day.

And you'll find no saccharine sweetness here.

This book tells it like it is, exploring the ups and downs of life in a straightforward, thought-provoking, and humorous way. HOW TO BE HAPPY,

DAMMIT is the self-help book for people who don't buy self-help books.

It may not change your life (unless you let it), but it will certainly brighten your day, even if you are a die-hard cynic.

   Here is your Better Life

"When you corner a cat, you should be prepared to get scratched.

Similarly, when you verbally accuse your mate, you should expect a defensive comeback.

Moneyspeak messages that begin with 'you' (as in 'you never pay the bills on time') are usually treated with suspicion and counterattack.

In most cases they're verbal acts of war.

Instead, use 'I' messages whenever possible.

Beginning sentences with 'I' (as in 'I believe ... ' or 'I'm worried about') conveys a much different intention.

'I' messages are reflections of your own state of mind, not judgments about your mate's.

They acknowledge a subjectivity in your viewpoint; that you're not making sweeping, all-knowing claims about your partner's behavior."
- Victoria F. Collins, Best Selling Author, Couples and Money

June Promo - Dr. Lynne Kenney: Ten Steps to More Confident Parenting Parenting Essentials: Ten Steps to More Confident Parenting. Dr. Lynne Kenney, a self-professed "nine year-old at heart," recognizes that we live in a stressful world.

She also believes that kids are resilient and forgiving, and that in the face of challenges, we can raise strong, independent children while living passionately and helping our children do the same.
