                 Calm
Today's word speaks of finding our center, the place within our being where external conditions do not affect our true spirit.

We have all heard of the phrase "eye of the storm", the center of solitude and calm in the midst of the chaos of nature's furies. Each of us also has a place of calm centered deep within our being, theplace at the heart of us that is always tranquil despite outer conditions.

Those who practice meditation/relaxation techniques work to access this place of peace. Many struggle with life's upheavals and "storms" without knowing how to find that center which allows us to make more informed decisions and choices, free from the whirlwinds of thoughts and emotion.

Today's word reminds us that mastering our world involves finding our place of peace, that silent center that is our connection to our source and to the Universe. True power lies in this silent center, and not in struggling against the forces of nature & external
circumstance.
Reflect on methods that you can use to help you find your center. Take up a new activity that is relaxing and grounding: breathing techniques, meditations, journaling, gardening, walking in nature are just a few practices that can help restore a sense of connection and inner peace.
