Countryside Corn Bread
Makes 9 (3-inch) slices.
- cup milk
1/4 - cup butter or margarine, melted
1 - egg
1-1/4 - cups yellow, white or blue cornmeal
1 - cup all-purpose flour
1/2 - cup sugar
3 - teaspoon baking powder
1/2 - teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 400º F. Grease bottom and side of 8x8x2-inch square pan.
