Green Bean Casserole Recipes - 3 to 4 cups cooked cut green beans (fresh, frozen, or canned, drained)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 pkg. cream of leek dry soup mix (amount for 3 or 4 servings)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 cup sliced ripe olives (2 1/4 ounce can), drained
- 1 can (3 1/2 ounce) fried onion rings or 1 cup coarsely crushed potato chips
Place the cooked, drained, green beans into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Blend with melted butter the milk, dry soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and olives. Pour over the beans in the casserole dish. Sprinkle the fried onion rings or potatoe chips over the top. Bake at 350 deg. F. for 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. This green bean casserole recipe makes about 6 servings. |
