 Astral Travels

Magic Carpet

The beach was white and the sun shone upon the day, so nice in the warm breeze. The heat from the sky and the ocean waves gently caress the shore. The bathers had their pina' coladas and pineapple drinks with the umbrellas. The beauties were lithe and tan and I floated overhead on my magic carpet feeling very much like a cloud, soft and fleecy. I looked upon the water and the waves rolling, the shore was receiving them. The white sand was hot and the sun glistened off the water.

The closer I came to the land the further away it seemed to be. The umbrellas were floating all around me now, and went floating off, millions of them it seemed. It was the bathing beauties I wished to look upon, topless they were and in my dream my magic carpet floated further and further away. They just faded out of mind and I looked into the sky for a sign, there it was umbrellas floating and I floated among them. I awakened from my dream with sand in my hair and astral traveling in my heart.

I could still see those bathing beauties sunning themselves lying in the sun on the white sand and the ocean breeze caressing them. I wanted to return to find my beloved as I knew she was on that beach somewhere waiting for me, the umbrellas floating. I wished to ride my magic carpet with her in my arms.

Sleep shall bring a new dream

and astral traveling...

Thank goodness for tanning salons and no carpets flying overhead! LOL

Sorry, had to toss that in Dale as I just got back from tanning!! *S*

I liked this, it was different, done in prose rather than poetry format. Ah... I could picture being on the beach, Pina Coloda in hand, enjoyed the wind and the waves, but stop PEEKING DALE! *S*

Hugsssss
Sassy
