I do not understand
Why people are not curious about the world
Why dogs always bark
Why cats don't trust anyone.
But most of all
I do not understand
Why people blame others
For their own failures
(I've seen students tremble with rage
Ready to kill a teacher
If they could get away with it
Because they failed a course
In which they did not work.
What I understand most are cameras.
They do what you tell them to do
Warn you if there's not enough light
And if you can see to focus
Will give you a color picture
Without arguing about anything.
