Moon in Armour
(The Flight of the Black Knight)

The dark night surrounds us
The knights sleep soundly
not disturbed

I awake and see a shadow
it’s the lookout
awaiting the dawn

The warriors begin to stir

A good meal and a good night
They are refreshed

We knock down the huge oaken doors
I run up the stairs
I sense her presence here

The black knight has taken her
he fled in the moons shadow
I heard his laughter
but his fear was well hidden
he knew now I would defeat him

Sir James cries out excitedly
My Prince, the sword of the moon
and her armour

The Black Knight had left it in his hurry

I put on the moons?armour
and placed the sword in my scabbard

I handled it and the heft was perfect
I would kill the dark one
with the blade of the moon

We mounted our steeds
galloping down the beaten path
I would have my Princess
in my arms soon
I felt her beauty and her love

The sun would set, twilight appear
and we would see the moon in armour

There awaits my answer

Hi Sassy,  Could you put graphics for this and post it to my serial works? I would appreciate it. You know that

Hugs

Dale

Dale, you're going to have to highlight it and post it to your serial works.  My mouse isn't functioning properly.  I can click on select all in wordpad to post the HTML I made to set this all up, but my mouse isn't letting me highlight and grab an entire graphic/poem like this is.  Sorry!  Just do it how we were taught.

Serial works doesn't allow you to click the bottom box, or I would have posted it using the html.  There, you must paste the entire graphic & poem using the copy/paste method.

Good poem, a nice addition to the serial Dale.  This makes the 9th! *S*

Hugsssssssss
Sassy *S*

Love this series, Dale. This chapter breathes of hope
and determination. Faith by the "blade of the moon"...

Love, Lin
