The Bees Romance
A Bumble Bee fell in Love
With a Honey Bee in Spring.
He followed her o'er hill and dale,
On his short and stubby wings.
Said He to She ," I love you so
And I have for Oh, so long!
I saw your lovely golden fuzz
As you flew near the old pond."
Said She to He ," It will never be!
And made one final sharp retort.
You're too fat and round for me
And your Stinger is too short"!

It is good to know that you are feeling better Anita. Sometimes it takes a while for the muse to return, I know. I am anxious for yours to re-emerge, and "he" will. (If Sassy can have a male muse -- so can you).  ...and Sassy -- It is wonderful to be back. Because of you, I do not have to live with being a "pastey" lady while here.  I think of you every time I see my new name. Your kindness will not be forgotten. Thank you! Jazzlin ...you are so funny!!! That poor bee. |
