I'm sorry not to be here and dealing with any of the groups but my Dad has been in ICU in a coma since Thurs and all the family has been spending all their time in there with him.  But we knew there was very little chance he would come out of it.  He was without oxygen for too long and only meds and respirator were keeping him alive, he was brain dead.  So the family knew his wishes and we were given no hope of any recovery.   They wanted to take him off life support on Sat, but it would have been my parent's 61st anniversary, so I told the doctors that my Mom shouldn't remember his passing as being the same day, so they waited till today to take him off the machines.    

 

He passed away early this evening and I'm not going to be around for a while.  With all the stress and things, I've had health issues myself and came home last night and today ended up in emergency in my hospital today and doctors have told me I have had to stay in bed today and tomorrow.

 

Also my oldest has major surgery coming up Sept 8th, so with all that is going on with my family, I will have to catch up on games and everything when I get back. I only came in to post this and then I have to get back into bed, I'm to keep my legs elevated higher than my heart, so I can't stay on comp.

 

I'll be back when I can, but right now, I'm just a mess emotionally.
