The Hermit has a Dream
Old prof had a dream A trail wound up a mountain A boy climbed searching for the peak he could look over the valley He faced the four directions then lay down facing the East A vision did appear He felt his Grandfathers power A great shaman He taught them the ways of the people The ways of healing
The boy knew he couldn’t let die the people now are few yet strong at heart needing the seeker
As daylight faded twilight appeared The boy ran home he knew he’d return to the vision world it showed the way His dream ally the spotted dog lead him to the dream
Old prof awoke startled and alert now He knew the elder shaman would call upon his vision the vision of power
a coyote was singing in the dark night
