To clutch the Mountains
When the breath is high in the chest
Is to loose the 'feel' of reality
One clings to the cliff edge
Signifying clinging to life
Wondering what life is
Remembering the Assyrian euphemisms
Found in a far away university library
Clutching the mountains means "to die"
Recalling the grasshopper who
Sprang non-chalantly over the precipice
To start a new life.
