of ceremonies long ago
searching for awareness
awareness of mastery

did glow
as blood flowed

of love...life's mastery
put down your sword
he laid it upon an oaken stump
in the center of the clearing
sacrificial chanting rang
mantras of forgiveness
the world spun
a warrior was born
intent on love
