An Artist in Love
An artist paints emotion
and falls in love with his subject
She came to me in this way
as a dream comes in the night
Oddly I would later confess
I felt I knew her from before
We visited a museum of art
and I admiring a painting said;
“This is so moving, emotionally
colorful and lovely.�?/FONT>
She smirked and exclaimed;
“I find this has no taste.�?/FONT>
walking away disgustedly,
yet looking back with a wink.
Little did I know
that I would find her
so attractive and beautiful.
Sometime later, a few weeks
I revisited the gallery and looking
at another painting, when I sensed
someone standing next to me
She says; “Ah this is quite vexing
and the painting is another colorful
abstract you admire?�?/FONT>
She had thrown her veil over me
and unknowingly I brushed against
her, finding her familiar,
so warm and creatively alive
Like an artist I wished to paint her
in the nude
using flesh colors of pink and rose.
I’d pain her lips a ruby red.
She asks; “Are you an artist?�?BR>half amused
I reply; “Yes and I’d like to paint you
in the nude!�?/FONT>
She touched my hand and purred;
“So pray tell where is your studio and
your brush.�?winking and laughing
at my blush
I felt I knew her body like no other
and we’d done this all before
I wanted to capture her beauty
on canvas and in my heart
I was speechless and...
