Through the mists Of night She slips Appearing as she Always does as The ballerina princess. As the haunting symphony Plays Silently over and over In her mind, She reacts naturally, Gracefully prancing and leaping Beside the black swams gliding Across the shimmering blue lake Where she's cursed To abide by day. By the evil wizard who Cast a spell Upon her to be Both a swan and woman For all eternity And all she can do Is lament her life Where she's been Kept from the man she loves.

Oh I like this Marie. It reminds me of a book I read where a curse is put on a girls brothers. She has to go through some torturous things to bring them back to their human form, some never fully returning to true form. It's a Brahms fairy tale, I think lol Hugs Dale |
