My toes wriggle
In the sandy beach
Usually wet from
The constant crash of waves,
And I remember
It was here
Where you and I
Met and loved.
Now as fall arrives,
The hot days
Of fun in the sun
Have wanned; the shores
Aren't as populated, and
I still feel
The heat of
Your firm masculine mouth and
Warmth of your body
Against mine,
Even though what we
Shared and had
Is only a memory.
