The Awakening Process  

Seekers of Spirituality and of Truth will not simply just discover it one day, it is a series of discoveries, questions, growth, and it evolves us into people that can handle the truths we seek. This process can be magical and it can be intensly painful. Neither experience lasts forever and both are necessary to experience the other. Without my pain I could never have appreciated the magic and without the magic, I could not appreciate the pain.

Being newly awakened myself (a baby) I wont pretend to have all the answers, but I will share the truths that I have so far discovered on my path. If you have a passion to grow the relationship you have with Spirit, like I do.... I can tell you that your eyes will open to a beautiful new world around you, many realizations.

Awakening is by no means the end, it is just the beginning. I see it as being born again into Spirit. And the growth is much like a new baby's. At first you're just sort there, just trying to shake off the trama of being born, and becomming aware of what is around you. You eat, sleep poop and grow in size, in strength, in awareness and the growth is fast. At that point I would just sit in the chat room and try to absorb the language everyone was speaking... it was foreign to me. I also felt absolutly stupid and overwhelmmed. It was like everyone around me knew everything and all I knew how to do was eat, sleep, poop, and grow. As I grew I began to ask questions, and get the answers or find them on my own. But I grew. Dont expect to look at the other kids running around playing and make yourself feel like you will never be able to walk let alone run. I've got news for you...they've all been there and it might surprise you to know that for some it wasnt that long ago. My awakening was March of 2000 (this year), i'm just a babe myself : )

There is another phase that I want to touch on. ha ha ha, lets call it "colic". In a baby collic occurs when the baby takes in more food that its digestive system can handle. The appetite grew, but the ability to process that food had not caught up yet. So you get pain, and need to pass the gas to release that pressure. The process is your body/mind catching up with your spirit, growth. You'll hear me refer to the process as "Spiritual Indigestion". You will be rolling along one day just fine when KABOOM... all the sudeen your wrestless, depressed for no reason, just feeling as though you arent comfortable in your own skin.

Unlike colic this goes away and a new one popps up. I dont think it will ever stop. You just learn to recognize what's happening, realize you gotta burp (or fart..haha) and you work thru the discomfort easier knowing the relief and rewards that follow it.

My indigestion seems to bubble up old fears, old emotions, and guilt..(blockages). You face them, realize what they are and realease or heal... and it passes as quickly as it comes.

That old guilt and fear block us from developing further spiritually. Thats why it comes up. During some of the worst I have found myself wondering if I wanted this path at all. I've also noticed that it floods you with self doubt. Doubting abilities, doubting your strength, doubting just about everything that isnt nailed down. To me its a battle, your spirit facing the fears and i'll tell you now fear puts up a hell-of-a-good fight!

Getting through the indigestion, clearing the blocks simply makes more room for Spirit to work thru you.... which is a gift.

The subject of gifts has come up on more than lets say 100 occasions (so far) : ) To me the gift, the gift I value above all else is having Spirit in my life. As I grow I have been given awareness of other gifts. As I read others I find messages in what I say that were meant for me, that is a gift.  When I heal someone...I am healed, that is a gift. When I speak with someone about growing in Spirit...I grow as well.

                                                    The Long Step Outward  

If all you think you have is a hand, then use it to reach out to someone lost, if all you have is a soft heart use it to give comfort and compassion to someone that has none. By doing so you use what you have to bring the light to someone who's lost in the dark. You become a tool for Spirit, and Spirit will make use of you.

I'm not telling you to preach or recruit... I dont ... Spirit recruits... your here arent you? Offer what they seek, offer what you have to give and Spirit will give you what you need to do your job. What is a reading anyway, but a healing.

When I first started reading I would always tell them that I'm not  a reader BUT, I would be glad to talk to them and offer advise. After the conversation ended I would read back through what was said and realize that it helped them. They received something they needed to facilitate healing. Even if all I offered was understanding, know that Spirit flows through you and what the person needed they received, even if it felt like you gave nothing. What we think we need and what we actually need are not always the same thing. You are given that which you need, as you are Spirit's tool.
