My Mom, Ruby Pearl Church passed away when I was 16 and she was only 39 years old.  She was exactly what her names says.  Rubies and Pearls, most precious of gems.  Mom gave me the example of what a great Mom should be and I have always tried to be that Mom for my daughter and son.  My Mom died many years ago and yet I can close my eyes and it feels like yesterday.  I will always miss her and the child in me will always cry for her.

My mother is a strong minded woman. She is always there for me. I appreciate all that she has done for me. I know that she did "spoil" me but that is one of her jobs. I wouldn't know what I would of done if it wasn't for my mom.

My Mom is a wonderful loving Mother who raised 5 children of her own. She then took my niece Kyana into her home right from birth.  Due to her health,  she has had heart attacks and has emphyzema,  she is now on oxygen 24-7.During the beginning of her attacks Kyana was alone with her Grandma.  She called 911,  my brother and myself.She saved Mom's life twice.  My Mom felt she could not put Kyana through that again.  My sister demanded Kyana should come live with her.    Mom knew she could not fight it, since she is almost 69 and very ill.  She blames herself for Kyana's leaving her home after 10 years. During my abusive marriage my Mom was always there for me and I always had a home with her.  She then volunteered at the court house with Victim Witness, for abused women.  She was active with this for 13 years.  For my Mom, Noreen, I want to say you are the best and I love you so very much.  This is your special day and no one deserves a wonderful day more than you.
