Hay Guys, Are any of you reloading a 38 Spec.for match shooting. That has a pet load for a S&W 868
with a 6" Barrel, That you would like to share...
I Have a question? Maybe someone out there can answer it for me. I'm reloading a 38 spec. with a Hornady 148 Gr. HBWC, with 3.1 Gr. Bullseye, a Win
Primer, shooting in the 686 at 25 yds. they shoot OK.
But not the best I've shot...
The question is: The bullets are hitting the target sideways..Can someone help ne to correct this.
I'm loading for accuracy.
Thanks,
6ppcShooter

something is destabalising the bullet causing it to keyhole my books say that powder charge is in the correct range so could be  the primer is to hot I shoot148 gr. hbwc with  2.7 grains of bullseye with a cci standard primer out of a s.w. model 66 with a 6" barrel it's a sweet shooting load and very accurate out of my gun.
