I hopethis message isn't to late-notice, but if there are any Australians who want to watch the BBC's Other Boleyn Girl, its on channel 2 tonight (29th October)
I have been wanting to see this for a long time, and tould have missed it on my TV guide, if my Dad hadn't pointed it out.

Well, I was quite dissapointed by it, actually! The actors were completely diffrent to what I would imagine them to be, and it was more like a documentary, with Mary and Anne making big brother-like diary entries!
The whole Mary/William Stafford thing was to rushed, I thought. And Stafford! the actor was so wrong! yikes!

It didn't do the book justice, basically.....hmmm.... other people may enjoy it, it just wasn't for me.

If it ever comes to the U.S. I'll probably watch it anyway.  Those sort of historical novels rarely translate well to the screen.  I don't know why.  They just lose something - energy - something.  I much prefer the books.  Bummer.
