I hopethis message isn't to late-notice, but if there are any Australians who want to watch the BBC's Other Boleyn Girl, its on channel 2 tonight (29th October)
I have been wanting to see this for a long time, and tould have missed it on my TV guide, if my Dad hadn't pointed it out.

Well, I was quite dissapointed by it, actually! The actors were completely diffrent to what I would imagine them to be, and it was more like a documentary, with Mary and Anne making big brother-like diary entries!
The whole Mary/William Stafford thing was to rushed, I thought. And Stafford! the actor was so wrong! yikes!
It didn't do the book justice, basically.....hmmm.... other people may enjoy it, it just wasn't for me. |

If it ever comes to the U.S. I'll probably watch it anyway. Those sort of historical novels rarely translate well to the screen. I don't know why. They just lose something - energy - something. I much prefer the books. Bummer.  |
