They state that soaps are dying. That in the, so-called, hayday they topped 30 million viewers..now they're lucky to get 5 million. And more and more actors will be dismissed. It's a shame; I've watched since around 1960, through good and bad. My take? And I don't necessarily mean ATWT...the new actors absolutely STINK!
I've watched for at least that long and am disappointed as well. Not that I don't believe it. I think it's the writers fault because they have destroyed the stories and actors so much. When it was on earlier in the years, it used to be so good. Interesting and exciting and not dwell so much on the sex as on a good storyline.
ICAM. It takes me so long to "warm up" to a new actor/actress. They don't utilize the talent they have in the Vets half as much as they could. I have mentioned that I tune into the show only to tell myself again and again, what show is this? There are so many new faces that I just cannot get into the storyline...and I'm sorry but Carly marrying Craig after what he did to her sister, there's no way in heck she would do that. It's very disappointing to me.
