Why do they keep bringing Sheila back?? Now she is back on Young and The Restless and I am, shall I say, quite Restless!! I don't understand it. I guess after the 9th time ( I think this is about her 5th trip back) she is suppose to die. (Cats have "9 lives"). Are we suppose to get all excited about this? I remember when she was on there years ago and I couldn't stand her then. Then she went to B&B as the same character,Sheila, got taken away, killed or whatever happened to her, returned to kill Taylor or Brooke whichever, returned with a teenaged daughter (whom she doesn't even talk about anymore) then returned to kille Brooke, Ridge and Nick with a baby and prison mate. I am so sick of this!! I want it over and done with. If she comes to ATWT than I know I will be not watching it for a LONG TIME!!!

She's kind of the James Steinbeck of the Y&R B&B world I suppose. I guess I don't mind Sheila's return's as much as you do because I like the actress who plays Sheila so much. Also because they tend to write her with humor. The scenes where she is just raving to herself and having delusions really crack me up for some reason. I guess because she somehow manages to blame Lauren for everything Sheila herself has done. But since you don't like her at least you know she never stays for very long. She's bound to be sent back to loony bin after Sweeps time...

But one thing I totally agree with you on is that her returns don't entirely make sense in terms of plot. Remember that she was supposed to have had Massimo's baby? Ummm where is that baby? Given Sheila's obsession with Scotty I can't believe she just left it somewhere. A year from now she'll term up on B&B lugging Moss's 15 year old daughter behind her.

i was kind of getting to like her on one life..i didn't really trust the character....i think she could have been evil in the end..but at least she was playing her better then the recast they got....

for me i see it as they dont' know what else to do in a story...a couple is happy...we cant' keep them that way..i know let's put the homewrecker back on......they do that when they can't figure anywhere else to go with the couple.....

it all depends on who she plays...

when she was on PC...they more or less had her being the same character..out to destroy someone..so i couldn't stand to watch..

when she was on one life last year..she was playing someone different..but if she had of continued then she would have been the same old, same old..out to destroy someone like her recast is doing....she started out good..and was keeping a secret....we found out that she was married to this other guy..big whoopee......lol....so let her recast deal with it..to me the character now is so totally boring.......it was at the time that she played her too..but the new paige is even more boring......and so doesn't fit with either of her leading men....she looks older infact then the two men......which i think is dumb because they're all supposed to be around the same age.....and they her and her ex might have a daughter together......geee...another long lost daughter...lol

I have to agree.  Sheila is like the energizer bunny....only worse.  You can kill her off and she keeps coming back and back and back.....kind of like James Stenbeck!!!

She was evil the first time she tired to kill Lauren - buried her alive until Paul saved her, and now she is trying to poison her via a necklace dipped in whatever poison's she had.  The woman is sick, and she drives me up a wall.

I know Y & R & B&B are big on the 'cross overs' from one show to another.  They have only done it once on ATWT with another CBS soap cross over.  Although cross overs are nice, I hope that Sheila stays where she is....or finaly goes 6 feet under!

yeah there is no way i want her to come to atwt and be the female version of james...

i cant' stand him or his types...always wanting to fix someone..there should be a rule..that you can only come back from the dead like 6 times....lol..after that..not a chance...

i cant' stand james...paul now..to me he's no better..helena from GH.....stephano from days, or his stupid son....and now they're thinking of bringing back his adopted daughter and all that.......i wish they'd leave this family off the canvas for good.......i have other rants from days but that's the biggie...

Not if you count all the AW actors/characters they picked up after the show went off the air.

Yeah, but at least it's original.  Even the way they did the switched paternity test with Sheila on B&B was original - spinning vials, no idea which was which.  They need more creative thinking on soaps and they only manage to do it with Sheila. (And the scenes are funny - like Sheila and prisonmate Sugar, pure camp)

The last time I saw Shelia was on Y&R and she was seeing a man.   She told him "make me look like this" and she handed him a pic of Lauren.  I figure she will come back as a look alike and cause more trouble.

I assume the man was a plasti surgeon.  I didn't make that clear in my last post.
