I think it's a good idea to have a support thread where we can go to talk about issues that are happening in our lives.  I realize there's only a handful of us posters who are regular posters, but we've come to know each other so well and I know it really helps to talk about things.

I think that's a good idea.

This one is fairly trivial, but oh well:
I don't know how many of you all are from California, but up here in the Bay Area, the weather has been so depressing lately! Mind you, we got about three days of sunshine this week (thank heavens!) but for the past thirty days or so, it's been nonstop rain and overcast weather.

It's just depressing. Things are OK today - it's not raining or anything, but it's supposed to, later on. :( I just don't know how folks in Portland and Seattle manage to survive in this sort of climate!

I don't know how anyone could survive in that climate, either.  We had the opposite problem in OK.  Until about a month ago, we had no rain in OK since October.  We've been experiencing a major drought with a lot of brush fires b/c of the wind and the humidity.

I know that my attitude tends to be kind of blah when it's raining outside and so I know what you mean by it affecting you.  I'll pray for lots of sunshine for the Bay area.
