I don't usually send these types but thought some of you might find this helpful:

JUST A REMINDER:
10 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS. To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone: 1-888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time.
Or you can contact them on the web at:
www.donotcall.gov
You can register ALL your families phone numbers at the web site, however, you can only register your own phone when you call the 888 number and you have to be on that phone when you call.

It blocks your number for five (5) years. HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS

P.S. If you forward this to anyone, please cut and paste so none of the email addresses are forwarded on. Thanks much.

This is a hoax:

9.9 times out of 10, anything that tells you to pass it on to "everyone you know" under the guise of "national security", is a hoax.

Places to go to when you want to check out a potential hoax are

Break the Chain and

Snopes - Urban Legends Reference Pages

Other sites that have proved useful are:

Symantec Security Response - Hoax Page (a.k.a. Norton Antivirus)

McAfee.com - Virus Hoaxes

I don't believe this is a hoax. It has worked for me from this particular site. And, better safe than sorry. " The person I got it from was quite knowlegeable and found this in the newspaper and on the television.
