So for those of you that have read the book, what was your favorite part? Was there any part that totally surprised you?  Before reading, did you think Snape was good or bad?

I whited out my opinions below, even though this is a spoiler thread, just incase someone stumbles upon it that is still reading and doesn't want to be spoiled.

I always thought Snape was going to end up being good.  Although the reasons for him being good did surprise me.  I was ROTFLMAO when Mrs. Weasley started with her expletives!! LOL right now just thinking about it.  I thought Mrs. Malfoy lying to Lord V about Harry being dead was a great part of the book.  It made the Malfoys actually seem real as opposed to puppets just allowing Lord V to pull their strings.  I really thought she was going to end up killing Harry off.  When he was going into the jungle with the weight of the world on his shoulders, I really felt for him.  Talk about a lot to have to handle.

Anyway, just curious as to what your thoughts are, if you finished the book already.

Allison,
Did you also get the feeling that if she ever wanted to, JK Rowlings could write another book that would be called "the inbetween years".  Meaning the lost 19 years.  Since Malfoys didn't die and their son lived on to have their own children, there is so much open space that is left "unwritten".  Guess I'm lost without anything more to look forward to.  Sorry, I don't know how to blind write these things, but I'll try.  Gee, I DID IT!!!

ITA.  She did say that she's totally done with the HP series.  Kind of sad for us fans.
