i think that they might want a more international flare this year..not sure if that's the reason or not...but also remember he's not british..he's australian......

Well, so far, I wasn't impressed with the guys last night.  My favorite guy is #12, Michael.  He is amazing.  I also thought #1 could sing and that the 16-year-old, now 17 with short brown hair could sing, too.  And he comes across as so humble.

 

That's my take so far....looking forward to watching the girls tonight.

So far I am of the opinion that last season's talent was so much better. This time around no one seems to have that talent that will take them to stardom....though I do think that 16 year old kid is pretty good. I can't stand that one that sings like Joplin.....she looks like a weirdo....lol

Well was anyone glad David Cook won?  I sure was.  I thought he was real good.  I love the 'rock' music and I think he did great changing up songs and making them different.  I also thought he was a very sincere person and he shared his winning moments with Archuletta was priceless to me, cuz you know we all loved that kid too.  He is wonderful, but he just did not have ability to make things his own.  I think he will get that someday and maybe come back and win.  can they come back, I think they can.  Anyway, I just loved this season, all except when they ousted Michael Johns, that was not a good moment for me, i wrote fox so many times they replied to me and said they were sorry I was upset.  I did not think he could win, but I did not think it was time for him to go home either. 

 

anyway, just seeing how everyone liked the show this year, I was a happy camper.  lol and like I said, sharing such a moment with others, made it even better cuz we all needed to see that I think.  I loved them both really, but knew Cook was more versitle, and you have to consider, he was also older and more experienced in music, I say for archuletta COME BACK AND LETS DO THIS AGAIN.............

 

i saw a interview on tv where Cook said when Simon said he had to sing Aretha Franklin song, he said 'i think i went pale'......I know, sitting on my couch at home and hearing he was gonna sing Aretha Franklin made me angry with Simon.  I felt he was just trying to ruin it for Cook, but i see now, he wanted to show America that boys talent.  Just my opinion of course, cuz I really do have a heart for rock music. 

I think he's great!  Was voting for him all along.  Of course, I like Michael Johns, too, and wish he would've gotten a little closer to #1!

 

David Cook was working in Tulsa when he auditioned and everyone just went crazy around here for him!!

Oh and LaDonna?  Good for you for writing FOX to tell them how upset you were over MJ getting the boot!  He is so good!  I really hope he gets a record deal.

how come you're going to write fox..i thought it was up to you who stayed in..but i don't know, sometimes i thin that it's fixed..

 

MJ was my first choice, but i'm really happy that david C won...
