After Jack tells Katie that waiting for him wouldn't be fair to her, she can't stop herself from returning to Brad, and accepts his unique marriage proposal.

Sofie takes Barbara to the hospital for emergency surgery and goes against Barbara's wishes by telling Paul, who rushes there.

Mike Kasnoff makes an unexpected return to Oakdale, saying he's working for the company bidding to develop Emma's land since "she's opted to sell the farm. "

Lily comes up with the idea of Mike and Paul forming a partnership for the project, which everyone agrees to.

Mike intends to stick around and see what happens.

AS THE WORLD TURNS~~~Van Hansis: The actor, who joined the show in December 2005, and guided Luke through a highly publicized romance with Noah (Jake Silbermann) has signed a new contract for an unspecified amount of time......At press time, it has been learned that ATWT had found a replacement for Martha Byrne (Lily), but wasn't releasing the name because they were waiting for Byrne to film her last day on the soap she joined in 1985. The show reportedly found a "name actress" to fill Byrne's big shoes. "They seem confident in who they've hired," says an insider. "And there weren't any screen tests." In order to make the transition Lily is supposed to be upset over Dusty's death and leaves town and will return with a new face and new attitude. TPTB are keeping a tight lid on her replacement......As I told you many moons ago Gwen and Will (Landon and Soffer) would be leaving the show. Look for the exit the first week of April. It's another sad goodbye for this couple when Carly, Jack and the rest of the clan bid these two good-bye....Fans are raving about the scene where Barbara told Kim she had cancer. It's been long over due that Colleen Zenk Pinter had a good story. This is what daytime is supposed to be.....Don't believe those rumors that Alexandra Chando (Maddie) is returning for the summer. Alex is in Calif. and enjoying the surf and sun. If there is a Maddie return I would expect a recast of sorts....Get ready for some Meg and Paul scenes when Meg can’t help but fall back into Paul’s orbit. ....All you Carly and Jack fans it's time to breath a sigh of relief, this couple may be getting back sooner then later but not before a fire breaks out on the stove and Jack saves the house from burning down, Carly thanks Jack and things start to really heat up when Carly and Jack make love!...... Lisa, Mike and Meg have never been together. I really don't even recall them ever being in a scene together. The plans are to bring Mike in as a triangle with Meg/Paul and for Katie to end up with Brad.

Carly and Jack are all about the drama, as is any supercouple. They break up, something major happens to thrust them back together. When they are together for real, they are so HOT together. MP and MW have the most AMAZING chemistry. And not just oh, let's get together, but Jack showing his undying love for Carly, there's no other woman for me together. That's what I'm waiting for. I love them together.

Sell the Farm??????????????/ You have got to be kidding........

I am not believing they want to do away with the farm. after all these years,

I like you guys here on this board, but I have to say, I am just almost done with this soap, I see it going in circles, which is no where, its becomming a huge waste of my time, no entertainment, just one mess after another. I just really do not see much left for me to be here for. I am so disheartened.

LaDonna, I feel the same way about the farm. Where else could they carve the hubbard squash at Thanksgiving? The Lakeview??? I'm hoping that Emma is interested in selling a portion of the land and not the actual farm itself, including the farmhouse. Selling the Snyder farm would be like flushing the soap down the toilet. It's a staple to the show and has been for so many years.

I'm wondering what their thoughts are (TPTB) in selling the farm, where do you think they're heading with that storyline???? Any thoughts?

First - why bring a "Mike" back if it's NOT Mark Collier - (course I wonder why watch any show that doesn't have a Mark Collier... but I've been biding my time waiting for new eye candy)

I miss original Craig. Why did we have to loose original Craig again?

The idea of another Jack and Carly reunion makes me gag (sorry) but after 20 years of the same storyline... I am bored of it. Carly and Jack are always so much more interesting with other people.

The Synder farm.... was there a Synder farm before Holden became the stable boy for Lucinda Walsh or were the Snyders all introduced around the same time?

Perhaps if there is no more Synder farm they could all move back into Lily's house - since it is a huge and otherwise totally vacant house!?

RaeLe, great idea, only all the Snyders will be moving into Lily's house with a NEW LILY! Just a minor drawback!

I honestly do not know about when snyders were introduced to the show. I watched off and on all my life, but this was during a time my grandmother took real sick and passed away and so many months there I did not get to see. I just know that farm is part of the show to me and it should not be sold off.

I agree 100 % about Mark Collier, why bring back a new cast. Just one of many things that makes me scratch my head.

I only watch for Jack and Carly and I am almost done with them. I just miss the good days of drama. I was so mad when Craig left. I can't believe it I was just really getting into his story and he was doing such a great job. He was so good and interesting. I remember when he was with Carly, I liked that, back in the day.

Back in the day.....was the good ole story......i just miss those days so much. I remember when Jack came to the show, back in those days and before we had a real story, now I just do not know what is happening, but to sell that farm, just won't work for me.

but once again I agree, why bring back a Mike......that some of us can get used to.

Ah LaDonna we could spend all day going "back in the day" -

I felt they were just starting to recapture the magic by having original Craig on the show - but now it's gone.

I guess that is why I like seeing the power couples apart - they become interesting again because it's not the same ole story. Jack was so much more interesting with Julia Larabee... heck, I even miss the days of crazy Julia sometimes.

I miss James Stenbeck... why didn't they bring Mike back to be with Rosanna (instead of making her second fiddle to Meg) - why Meg?!

Why does Sophie have all the men of Oakdale on her side?! I'd like to see a good Emily story - maybe bring back James and Emily (that was the best power couple of all)

If Emma is going to sell the farm what a great reason to have Connor and Cal return. Something - anything to bring some of the best characters back (preferably with the original actors)

Now why would Chris be so excepting of Allision being a former porn star but so outright not accepting and darn right mean to Emily about her working as a prostitute? Doesn't make sense to me at all.

Emma is only selling a portion of the farm. None of her kids really want to run the farm, never really have.

Holden and his family were introduced to the show around the same time. Seems like Emma has been there forever. I hope Paul holds true to his promise to Meg and doesn't go off half cocked someday and try to put some new development in there.

MW has chemistry with just about any actor she's had to work with on the show. I can't think of a one she hasn't. I wonder how her hubby feels about that(former Andy)....lol.

YEah, I agree with ya Raele, Conner and Cal would be great. What I am tired of is the comings and goings so fast, no time to get over it, when they bring back a new one and I have a terrible time adjusting to the characters. This new Chris is not working for me at all. I do not like the new Mike. I know I am not gonna like Lily, that will never work. I did not like it before when they changed Lily, that was dreadful.

I was really enjoying Craig, he had really just slipped into place andI I found that I did not get his character confused with the 'Hunt Block' character, Craig was Craig, the one and only that I remembered from way back when. It seems they rush some storys and you never feel the drama, its like boring and bam over. In all my years of soaps, I have never seen it like it is now.

I tell you the Brad and Katie story is so out of whack,I can't even stomach it much anymore. I mean, its lost any chemistry is may have had, and I fell like Brad is same as Henry, she will be with him until something else comes along. Its maddening, because I like brad, and very much dislike Katie at this point in the show. I just can't take her......so perfect attitude with not so perfect life, she is like a goodie two shoes one minute and who knows what the next minute.

ON a flip side, I liked the scenes with Lucinda the other day, her and Emma. I would love to see more of Lucinda, Emma, and where is Nancy, did she just fade away. I thought she was Katies pal, yet we never see her anymore.

I am just sad about where this soap is headed.

I almost teared up today when Gwen and Will were saying goodbye to Oakdale. I'm really going to miss them.
