"I was told by somebody in the business that Martha Byrne (ex-Lily) is this close to signing a deal with chief "As The World Turns" competition, "One Life To Live."

Melissa Fumero, who plays Adriana, the daughter of "OLTL" villainess supreme Dorian, is leaving the show this summer thus leaving Dorian with "one less of her girls."

38-year-old Byrne is apparently being groomed to portray Cassie, Dorian's oldest daughter.  The last actress to portray Cassie, Laura Koffman, is only five years older than Byrne.

The mother-daughter dynamics between Dorian and Cassie are quite similar to the relationship shared by Lucinda and Lily:  Dorian is rich, controlling and can be a major witch when she wants to be while Cassie, always the heroine, seemed to find just as much disappointment in the romance department as Lily.

This would reunite Byrne with former "ATWT" co-star Hunt Block (ex-Craig), now Ramsey.  And if other internet rumours that Cady McClain joins "OLTL" as Caitlin Fitzgerald, come true, there would be a huge reason for disgruntled "ATWT" watchers to tune into "OLTL."

i kind of wouldn't mind, if she comes to the soap, as long as they don't put her with hunt, i'll be happy..sorry canht' stand him at all......but all in all, wouldn't mind her coming at all...

 

not sure if i want cady to come though.....i'm really bored of her.....and her characters

Rumor has it that Ameera is going to be gone, along with Sophie.

Wow, I can see Ameera's storyline going because she has absolutely no part, but didn't Sophie sign a one year contract?  And aren't they going to have a storyline about Paul raping her (a lie of course), and her running to tell Mike all about it?

Of course, since her ex boyfriend is due back in town, maybe he'll take her away

with him!!!

I just read where they are out of here the beginning of June!  Good job Softball.

Sophie doesn't leave until after Cole makes his appearance sometime early in June.  Guess he will take Sophie with him!!!  One can only hope.

Hmmmm....I thought that Sophie signed a contract?? So why is she leaving???

a few years back..there was an actress on gh..who supposedly signed a 5 year contract..no one liked her...so she got the old heave ho.....

didee, from what I have read, yes, Justine did sign a contract--who knows--TIIC could be "sacrificing" yet ANOTHER character for Maul....

i sort of like mike and meg...but if they're going back to maul..i totally won't care...can't stand him with a passion...since RH took over the role, and never will......

 

so won't have any reason to watch.....i'm kind of getting used to the new lily...and her demands on holden.......but other then that....

Susan, you're not the only one who doesn't care about Maul. I think that whole debacle is totally disgusting!

if paul was being played by the first guy, that i saw, scott, something or other...then i could really go for him...but i havent' cared for the character at all, since RH took over the role...

 

and the thing is that they didn't give him a different character to play, as for me, todd and paul, (from one life) must have been twins seperated at birth......

 

anyone that would take his sister's baby away from her, and send her to a mental institution, i do not want to like at all, he was ok, with the first guy...but like they always say, we're recsting, because we want the character to go in another direction, well this time for me, they picked the wrong direction
