the rumours about him leaving aren't new...they've been coming and going for a couple of years now.....

 

but if he does leave..can he take his wife with him, pretty please....i so can't stand emily anymore...especially now that she's pregs with her son's brother......ewwwwww

i so hate when they do those stories..they did it years ago on GH....when a character was pregs in real life..they didnt' write it in....but they had her go to a fat farm......

 

i like that she looks like a real woman instead of some waif.......

From what I'm reading, Jon Prescott is definitely out as Mike.  Jon Hensley (Holden) is rumored to be trying to get out of his contract.  I believe he just renewed not too long before they axed Martha Byrne, if I remember correctly.  I can't blame him for wanting to leave.  IMO, he has no chemistry with NB at all.

Oh and thanks so much for posting dkp!  Appreciate it.  I try to get on here as soon as I can in the evening but it doesn't always happen!

still think that it could be JH...because the one who plays mike hasn't been on there for that long...and we've not really gotten the chance to know him and all that...so don't think that he's the important one who's leaving

 

and if they're bringing in laurence lau...who's been on quite a few soaps...and there are still rumours that scott bryce is coming back...they kind of have to go and get rid of someone....

 

hope it's not JH.....although at times, i think he's boring..i do kind of like him...

Why is the new "Mike" leaving????

I wonder why Greyson Crouch is returning?? Maybe he can't get a job anywhere else uh??? And wasn't he "killed off??? So he is going to return from the dead??? Sheesh..........

Yeah!  Glad Dusty is headed back.  Hope they pair him with Lily for a bit.  Love Grayson McCouch!  That is awesome news.

 

Very glad SB is not coming back under these writers.  Good for him.  I love him and think he is an amazing actor but after what they did to him, I don't blame him one single bit. 

 

Diane, JP (Mike) got fired.  I'm assuming since they were going to pair Mike with Lily and now they have decided not to, they don't have much to do with the character so they axed him.

i'm not all that sure if i even want him back.....the last year that he was on..i barely even watched him...his character did nothing at all for me, and he used to be one of my faves..

 

i'm barely watching the show as it is........so him coming back....isn't really going to entice me at all...at this point...and also the other message that i just posted...

can't remember exactly where i read it...but going to post it here.

 

i mentioned that robin scorpio was the only soap actress that i had seen growing up on the soap..

 

someone else said that lily did as well....went to check out when she came to the show and she was 15-16..

 

sorry but not the same thing as kimberly mccoullgh....she joined the soap when she was five..her character was supposed to be 6..she remained on the show until she was 19....even after her parents died..she was still on the show, we saw her grow up from a kindy kid to a doctor, when she left she went to the sorbon.....and now she's a doctor and having a child of her own....well on the show only..

 

so for me it's still one kid that i have literally seen grow up on a soap..

 

they might be doing the same thing on GL...but i'm not too sure if they are or not, although the same boy's been playing the role for the entire 7 years that i've been watching, and he and his brother are being aged naturally...lol..but their younger sister are quite the different story
