With ATWT's Sofie dead--even though Justine Cotsonas isn't yet officially off the show--it's going to take a very unique mind to catch her killer. Enter John James' Dr. Rick Decker! "I'm happy I'm involved with John coming back," enthuses co-star Colleen Zenk Pinter (Barbara). "It was a bit of a shock for Barbara to see Rick Decker back, but...It's so much fun for him to be there. In the beginning, he's brought back as the forensic scientist to lend a professional eye to Sofie's death. He's a medical scientist who has a great deal of knowledge about death." But will using a criminal to catch a criminal succeed? "Dr. Rick is back to create more havoc!" she promises. James will appear on the Tuesday, July 15 and wed. July 16 episodes--be we hear that those dates may not be the last time Oakdale sees Dr. Death!


Is Brad's Ex Sticking Around?
Julie Pinson's new role as ATWT's Janet is recurring, so she could go at any time. But while we're sure Katie wouldn't mind seeing her husband's ex hit the road, Pinson herself is happy to stick around as long as the character has storyline. "I would love to be here as long as they'll have me," she smiles. "When I first took this job, I was glad it was recurring, because I didn't want to get locked into something if I didn't like it. But I'm really enjoying myself there. I really, really like it. So I'd stay as long as they'd have me."


Is Damien Returning?
Rumors that Van Hansis' next big ATWT storyline would involve Luke being contacted by someone from his past have many speculating that Paolo Seganti's Damian would be making a return trip to Oakdale. Luke's dad was last seen in the summer of 2006 when he reacted badly to his son's coming out as gay and then tried to abduct the boy to get his hands on his inheritance! So we're guessing if Damian is on his way back, Luke may not be terribly happy to see him. A show rep had no comment.

This week of ATWT, Meg and Paul fear that Sofie's body will be discovered, but that may be the least of their worries as suspicions grow and the police get involved!

Is the Honeymoon Over Already? At Fairwinds, an uneasy Meg leaves Paul sleeping in bed while she is drawn to the garden where Sofie's corpse remains buried beneath the flowers. Seeing Mike snooping around, Meg freaks out and fears the worst. When Mike takes his suspicions to the police, who will become their prime suspect? And will that person really be the one who took Sofie's life?
