Has anyone read any books on Edgar Cayce? I find his stuff interesting as well. I have read three of his, I have a book ... Atlantis Revisited, and The Dead Sea Scrolls left of his to read before I get a few more. His stuff is somewhat confusing with readings inbetween but it does get easier to follow once you know which is book part and which is the reading part. His stuff is very insightful!!...

A.R.E. is online you may wanna check it out...http://www.edgarcayce.org...The Edgar Cayce foundation in VA Beach I am told is a wonderfully calming place.....the Gardens and meditation area is quite beautiful. The library is HUGE.  It is the biggest metaphysical library around (apart from the vatican library, which is not public)

Woman, you are too funny!
I have been meaning to read these 3 books.........
A friend of mine brought over 3 Edgar Cayce books about 3 weeks ago for me.
*There Is A River Edgar Cayce
*My Life With Edgar Cayce by David E. Kahn, told by Will Oursler
*Edgar Cayce The Sleeping Prophet by Jess Stearn

Just finished Rosemary Altea, an author you would love! Wrote the Eagle And The Rose.
I wish I had more time to read, as I use to finish a book every 2 days before I had kids, but now, it can take weeks!
And sometimes I just need to read a good fluff novel to take me away! LOL> anyone for any good fluff??

Hi,

I have read two books on him, written by Gina Cerminara:

Many Mansions and The World Within.  I found the English version of Many Mansions published either in 1960s or 70s but the other one's my native language's (Sinhala) translation.  Both help understand life....

Hi Strega,

You are not alone in reading and enjoying Edgar Cayce.  I read Many Mansions    many years ago.  I have also read 4 of the other books mentioned on this thread.  He started me on the road of being open to psychic phenomena and spiritual development.  Thanks for mentioning him.  In my opinion, he was the real thing and opened doors for many others.

Hi Searching,

Yes, I too agree with you.  He is the one who awakened me the possibility of reincarnation.  Until then, I only accepted Roman Catholics' only one earth incarnation theory.

Edgar Cayce is the only true psychic I believe to have been born to this generation. He knew too much to be disbelieved. He was true to his calling but I aslo think that the people who have control of his things now are more interested in the money they will recieve than with helping ppl. Edgar was a helper and angel on earth, the ppl now controlling his writings and thoughts are only interested in one thing. MONEY
It"s a pitiful thing really in the long run cuz u can't take it with u can you???

Has anyone read the book
"The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce?" written by Wynn Free with David Wilcock?
It claims that David Wilcock is the current incarnation of Edgar Cayce.
I'd like to know if there's any truth to their claim....

Hi Aurora,

Thanks for you post.  No you are not late and your post is very much welcome even now.

You say that you have been a member of the A.R.E.  Why have you given up its membership?  I was wondering whether I too should join.  Are there any others here at BTV who are also members of ARE?  I have been to its web-site but it appears more to be business-like, very much different from what I have read about Edgar Cayce.  It is said that he was a simple, common man and never believed in making money out of his abilities, other than for his being alive.  I have been reading "There is a River" these days and almost finished now.  Thanks to Voyager who gifted the book to me.

I agree with you and I too have doubts on "if one necessarily incarnates into a physical form that resembles a previous one that much".

As you claim, if Edgar Cayce was to be reincarnated in either 1998 or in 2100s, then this person, David Wilcock could not be him, unless in the spirit world his plans were changed and made an early entry into this world.  Did Cayce give those indications just by himself or through a reading while he was in a trance?  As far as I have understood, Cayce was an excellent channel but the wisdom of his reading came from some other source which communicated through him.  But if not for his ability, we would not have got so much out of or rather through him.  I wish he were alive today!

Congratulations on your achievement - A Soul in Peril.  Hope I would be able to read it once it is out.  By the way, under what name have you published it?  As Aurora?  Do you write a lot of books?

Hello, I have read a number of his books, and I think he is the best.  I would advise anyone that wants to learn more of the spiritual, to read "his" books. I think "MANY MANSIONS" was my favorite.   Delois
